{Joanne & Beau}

Striking Movie Themed East London Wedding

Jo and Beau were such a cool couple to spend time with, and we really enjoyed our various get togethers prior to their wedding, scoping out some great spots in East London for couple portraits on the day. They really embraced the creative, fun shots which we loved - we had a few giggles whilst invading little vintage boutiques and even a cinema in Shoreditch to get some awesome couple shots!

The striking red and charcoal colours were set off to perfection with all the great little touches - red balloons, red socks and one hard to miss, Jo's gorgeous sparkly red Jimmy Choos (very Wizard of Oz!) They incorporated a movie theme into the reception at the Honorary Artillery Company (HAC) in Clerkenwell with popcorn favours and favourite movie quotes which identified the tables.

With the cinematic theme and the striking backdrops, this wedding was a gift to photograph. Thank you Jo and Beau for letting us be part of your amazing day!

{Lauren & Barry} Intimate & Pretty Floral Waterside Wedding

The dramatic british weather had us holding our breath for the outdoor ceremony on Lauren & Barry's wedding day in August 2012, but as if by magic the sky cleared just before the wedding and gave us sunshine for most of the afternoon, topped with a gorgeous golden evening. The venue was the lovely 16th century pub- The Ferry House Inn on the Isle of Sheppey in Kent, and it was corker!
Ready to welcome their first born in the autumn, Lauren looked gorgeous in a flattering lace and tulle dress with pretty capped sleeves.

The day was not short on delicious decor, beautiful fleurs and possibly the most amazing victoria sponge wedding cake I've ever seen! We hope you enjoy this selection from this lovely wedding as much as we enjoyed being part of it.

{Amy & Justin} Vintage Travel Inspired Outdoor Wedding

There were so many cool touches that Amy & Justin thought of for their vintage travel themed wedding at Minstrel Court, Hertfordshire. The day was made all the more personal as they chose favourite places that they had visited on a recent 6 month world travel expedition, using lots of quirky nik-naks and memorabilia from their trip as decorations for the reception. One of our favourite touches was the surprise wedding transport Justin arranged for Amy to arrive for the ceremony - an authentic Thai Tuk Tuk! So awesome.

We were also thrilled to design their wedding invitations, which were the perfect introduction to the vintage travel theme. Will blog a separate post of these very soon! In the mean time, enjoy here are a few of our favourite frames of Amy & Justin's fantastic wedding day.

{Suzie & Dan} Quirky Cornish Handmade Wedding

2012 was a seriously crazy but exciting year, unfortunately not allowing us the time to blog any weddings except for a few sneak peek shots. So, now we're fully settled into 2013 we are finally getting around to blogging all the lovely weddings that we were lucky enough to shoot last year.

First wedding of 2012 to hit the blog, the beautiful Cornish wedding of Suzie & Dan.
Such a gorgeous wedding to photograph, filled with lots of quirky, personal details and handmade touches which family and friends all rallied round to help Suzie & Dan achieve.
We are so excited for May when our own wedding will be captured on film by this very special talented couple!!
